TUMBLE TOTS

Boys & girls (ages 3-5 years)
Tumble Tots is a 30-minute movement education class for pre-school aged children that focuses on early gymnastics skills. Classes include warm-ups with basic stretches, locomotor skills, forward rolls, handstands, balance beam skills, swinging on the bars, jumping on the bug board and an introduction to dance. (We ask that parents remain in the hallway or use the facility during class.)

PROGRESSIVE SCHOOL-AGE GYMNASTICS

This nationally accredited program involves skill development specifically designed for each level on all four events. Structured gymnastic routines will be taught for bars, beam and floor. Our level 3 Pre-Team will learn routines and skills that are competed by the Flames Gymnastics Team of Olean-Bradford. When skills are acquired, the gymnasts will be invited to compete on the team. Progress to any level will be determined by the Y gymnastics staff and head coach.

  • ROLLERS - Level 1 - This level includes basic skills on floor, balance beam, uneven bars and springboard.
  • SWINGERS - Level 2 - This level builds upon skills learned in level 1 on the floor, balance beam, uneven bars and introduces the vault.
  • KIPPERS - Level 3 - This intermediate builds on skills developed in levels 1-2 and continues on floor, beams, bars and vault.
  • PRE-TEAM - Level 3 - This level teaches routines and skills that are competed by the Olean-Bradford Area YMCA Flames Gymnastics Team.
