Olean Family YMCA
Strong Kids Campaign

What Can Youth and Teens Do?

Program Opportunities: There are many opportunities for young people to volunteer at the Olean Family YMCA. Depending on the current needs of each department, students may volunteer at the front desk/access desk, as pool assistants, youth sports assistants or in many other capacities. YCamp is another great place for teen leadership opportunities. Check with the branch executive to find out how to get involved.

Service-Learning Opportunities: Service-learning is a process that involves identifying learning objectives, participating in meaningful service, and reflecting on the entire experience. Students have many opportunities to participate in service-learning opportunities at our YMCA. College students may also work with the YMCA to create a unique service-learning opportunity to fit individual interests.
