Volunteer Levels & Opportunities
Both locally and across the globe, the YMCA was founded by volunteers. Today, more than 200 people of all ages and interests contribute more than 10,000 hours to help the Olean Family YMCA accomplish its mission. Dan Wallace
Dan came to Olean with his family and participates in many of the Y’s teen activities. He serves on the Teen Center Advisory committee, which creates programming ideas for teens. He also volunteers at family fun nights and youth special events.
Norm Moore
Norm is a family man and strong believer in the mission of the YMCA. His passion has led him to serve on the board of directors, numerous committees and most recently helped in the creation of the Twin Tiers Striders Club to help ensure all runners and walkers can enjoy exercise in all seasons.
