All classes, including those that are value-added member benefits, require advance registration to ensure classes meet the minimum requirements to run.

All fees, if any, are due upon registration. Due to the popularity of classes, we do not hold spots.
A current YMCA membership is required through the entire program session if you are paying the YMCA member price.

For membership information, click here Membership categories, rates & policies.

VALUE-ADDED PROGRAMS

Adult and family memberships include a number of value-added programs at no additional cost. Restriction to this are:

  1. A member may only register for one class of the same type per program cycle, i.e., only one fitness class, etc. If, on the first day of the scheduled class, spaces are still available, members may register for additional classes. The member can guarantee a space in a second class prior to the session start by paying half of the public rate.
  2. Waiting lists will be maintained for classes reaching their maximum level of participation. Participants missing more than three classes in any given session may be asked to relinquish their spot or refrain from registering early the next session.%%

REFUND/CREDIT POLICY

Class and program fees are non-refundable except under the following conditions:

  1. Classes canceled by the YMCA will be fully refunded.
  2. If a participant cancels prior to the start of the first class, the YMCA will retain a 25 percent service fee. No refunds or credits will be given after the class has met, except for medical emergencies.
  3. In case of medical emergencies, a credit will be issued for the remaining balance of class fees. A written request must be submitted with a doctor’s note.

If a program is cancelled by the YMCA, every attempt will be made to place you in another convenient class. Decisions to cancel due to limited enrollment are made 48 hours prior to the first class.

CLASS HOURS AND TIMES

We encourage all participants to be on time and ready to begin classes. Scheduling is strictly adhered to and there is no provision for class extension time. Parents are required to accompany children under the age of 6 to their classes and to be there at release time to assist in the locker room or gym.

PROGRAM CANCELLATION POLICY

Weather related cancellations will be broadcast on local radio stations. Tune in to WMXO (101.5 FM), WPIG (95.7 FM) or WHDL (1450 AM).

MAKE UPS

No make ups are held if a class is missed due to sickness or personal reasons in any case. If a class date falls on a day the YMCA is closed, no class is held.

LOCKER ROOM POLICY CAN BE FOUND ON THIS PAGE LR POLICY.
