LAP SWIMMING AND WATER WALKING

OPEN SWIMS

Open swim times are available throughout the week for members. Current pool schedules are available at the front desk each month. Children must be in first grade to come alone.

OPEN SWIM POLICY

Afternoon and Sunday swims are for youth and adults. One lane will be available for lap swimming. Youth must be in first grade to attend alone. Pool depth is 3.5'. Evening swims in the front pool are for adults and youth in grades 6-12. Youth in fifth grade and under must be accompanied by an adult. One lane will be available for lap swimming. Refer to page 9 for the Family Swim days, times and policy.

FAMILY SWIM POLICY

Preschoolers must be accompanied by a parent at all times. Children in first grade and above may attend family swim without a parent, provided a parent is in the building. The parent must check their child in at the pool, or Kids Club staff can bring them in if requested by parent. Current pool schedules are available at the front desk each month or (click here) for current schedule.

Float belts will be loaned out for Family Swims upon request. All other equipment is for instructional use only. Parents may bring in their own pool "toys" provided they are used responsibly. The lifequard reserves the right to withhold use of inappropriately used pool toys. Children wearing floatation devices who cannot touch the floor must be accompanied in the water by an adult.

LOCKER ROOM POLICY

• The Men's and Women's Locker Room is for adults 19 years of age and older.
  • Women may bring their preschool (5 years and under) daughters.
  • Men may bring their preschool (5 years and under) sons.
  • Parents changing their opposite gender children must use the Family/Special Needs Locker Room.
  • Parents changing their same gender children older than 5 years must use the Girls' & Boys' or Family/Special Needs Locker Rooms.
• The Girls' and Boys' Locker Rooms are for youth in grades K-12.
• The Family/Special Needs Locker Room is for people who have special changing needs: parents with small children or people with disabilities requiring the handicap shower and changing facility.
• Locks are for sale at the Front Desk. You may bring in your own lock for daily use. Any locks left on overnight will be removed and the contents of the locker will be kept for two weeks. Lock boxes are available at no charge at the Front Desk for your valuables on a daily basis. The YMCA is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
