THE FOLLOWING GROUP EXERCISE CLASSES ARE AVAILABLE AT THE OLEAN FAMILY YMCA THROUGHOUT THE YEAR:
The class begins with aerobic endurance work, followed by upper and lower body muscle-specific exercises, abdominal work and stretching. This is a great workout for all fitness levels.
The class begins with 35 minutes of aerobic endurance work, followed by upper and lower body exercises, abdominal work and stretching. Great for all fitness levels.

This class is a high intensity, total body workout that alternates between cardio and strength intervals utilizing step aerobics, high/low impact aerobics, kickboxing, sports moves, stability balls, resistance tubing, dumbbells, etc.

Now FREE and for members only! This non-impact program is designed for all fitness levels. Due to limited number of bikes available, "saving" of bikes is not permitted. Placing a water bottle or towel on a bike to "reserve" your spot does not guarantee a bike for the start of class. It is mandatory that all cycle participants bring water and a workout towel to class. Individuals will not be allowed to ride without it. Minimum requirement to run a class is 5 participants.
Target all your fitness needs in one class. Enjoy step mixed with some high-low choreography and use body bars, tubing and weights for the strength component.
Fitness Yoga is yoga for everyone! This class combines traditional yoga postures with modern fitness movements and safety guidelines. The class features strength, cardiovascular conditioning and flexibility components using music to enhance the experience of moving from one posture to the next. Movement modifications will be incorporated to meet the needs of every student. Fitness Yoga is an exercise without force or competitiveness. It helps to develop muscle tone and physical coordination, heightening your sense of well-being and promoting flexibility, concentration and relaxation. It is an excellent form of stress relief. Wear loose clothing and bring an additional layer of clothing for the final relaxation.

This powerful workout will challenge your mind and body by focusing on perfecting punches and kicks. The intense moves are developed to increase agility, coordination, balance, and strength. The invigorating 45-minute class will end with 10 minutes of abdominal exercises. You will feel empowered by this workout!
Get your day started right! Come join a high energy, heart pumpin’, fat smashin’, feet tappin’ workout. A combination of step aerobics, high/ low impact aerobics, kickboxing, sports moves, cycles, body bars, medicine balls and much more.
This class offers a variety of class formats and a variety of instructors alternating different fitness class formats into the Prime Time Saturday morning spot. One thing is common for all classes - you'll get a great workout!

A low impact, high intensity class for all fitness levels. The step workout ends with 15 minutes of weight resistance, stretching and body sculpting.
Join the newest fitness trend! Pilates (pilah tayz) Plus is a total body conditioning exercise program combining a mental and physical workout. Small props, such as the “magic circle”, small weighted balls and stability balls will be used with the Pilates Mat exercises. Movement modifications will be incorporated for all fitness levels.
